These angel wings commemorate a love that extends after death. The love that wants to survive after you lose someone important in your life. How as a result I went into a spiral of questioning my relationship to everything around me. Suddenly the presence of everything was solidified because I realized that ‘endings’ were inevitable. This piece is a celebration of love that exists within everyone we know and once knew.

You are faced with a harsh reality that changes all that you are. But with that you experience moments where you wish you could hug them one more time or tell them about your day. This piece acts as a sacred haven for this forbidden comfort. Because our lost loved ones are warped within our infrastructure, there’s no escaping what has always been our home
