These angel wings commemorate a love that extends after death. The love that wants to survive after you lose someone important in your life. How as a result I went into a spiral of questioning my relationship to everything around me. Suddenly the presence of everything was solidified because I realized that ‘endings’ were inevitable. This piece is a celebration of love that exists within everyone we know and once knew.

You’re Forever Woven into the Fabric of My Memory

You’re Forever Woven into the Fabric of My Memory is an installation showcasing the collective acceptance of grief. It envelops you, surrounds all that you’ve become. You are faced with a harsh reality that changes all that you are. But with that you experience moments where you wish you could hug them one more time or tell them about your day. This piece acts as a sacred haven for this forbidden comfort. Because our lost loved ones are warped within our infrastructure, there’s no escaping what has always been our home

For this year’s birthday, a cake for your growth.

This piece commemorates growth during loss. Celebrations amongst feelings of momentary grief. Celebrating the small milestones of showing up during days when it feels the hardest because you can’t fathom the idea of existing without your person. Here’s to a year of growth.

 Ephemeral Bloom

Ephemeral bloom explores the ephemerality within nature. How the seasons are only momentary yet cyclical. How there’s beauty and spiritual comfort within that momentary pattern. Through objects that depict nature; a leaf and two vases, these objects try to depict an ephemeral bloom
